Further checked off my list...

"Faith of the Fallen" by Terry Brooks (again, but hardback so I'll keep. :P)
Hannibal DVD
Matrix DVD (Will take back and get Ah! My Goddess DVD I think)
"The White Order" by L.E. Modesitt Jr.
$5 in McDonald's Gift Certificates
$25 Gift Certificate to RadioShack
"The Sickness" Album from Disturbed (one from Aunt, one from Keenan :P)

And as a bonus, an old Toshiba Satellite laptop. :P I'm not sure why my aunt got me book 8 instead of 7, I'll have to buy 7 myself later. And I'm not sure why my grandma got Hannibal since I didn't ask for it. POLL OF THE PEOPLE (PLEASE COMMENT), I never saw Hannibal at the theater. Is it worth keeping? It's on the same receit as Matrix, so I can take it back if it's really not worth it and get one of the other movies on my list. I *wanted* to see it in the theater but never gotaround to it, so I want to know what others think of it.

i liked hannibal, it doesn't even compare to silence of the lambs though...i'd return it and get something you really wanted. rent it if you want to see it, but it's not worth owning

Thanks, I did end up returning it. :P

Of the three films, Hannibal was the weakest.

"Manhunter" (The Red Dragon) is by far my favorite... I love the characters and acting in it, not to mention since it is a Michael Mann film (Miami Vice) it simply looks gorgeous, and has an amazing amount of style to it.... And the music by Shriekback is an added bonus... hehe

"Silence Of The Lambs" was quite good as well.

"Hannibal" kept on feeling like it was going for the cheap shots when it could, and was by far the goriest of the three.

Personally, I'd bring back Hannibal, and get Manhunter or Silence, if you don't have either.
(Manhunter was recently re-released to DVD, and the transfer and extras are wonderful)

Never heard of Manhunter, but I did return Hannibal, and got something else. :P

I actually quite liked hannibal, its simplicity and style certainly took it away from the original silence of the lambs and made it into a movie of its own right, in a sence, its almost bugger all to do with silence of the lambs apart from the charecters =\
but the masterpiece comes at the end of the film, when he gets cooks up a meal served for 3 =)

but, each to their own i guess.

it certainly got mixed reviews here, at work, everyone loved it.
my mates, didnt like it the first time, however when watched again, thought it was pretty good, as long as you dont treat it like SotL.

I ended up returning it and getting the "Ah! My Goddess" movie instead. :P I'll rent Hannibal sometime, and then add it to my list to buy if I find I like it. :)

the book is really good and has a diff ending than the movie

I don't usually read horror books. Mostly fantasy and some sci-fi. :P

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!

Thanks again Donnie. :P
