Me: "She's not here, she's at college."
Them: "Oh, okay, well I'll call back later tonight."
Me: "Umm, no, she doesn't live here, she lives an hour and half away..."
Them: "Oh, well then is Russell Lawrence there?"
Me: "Umm, no, that's her boyfriend, he doesn't live here either."
Them: "Oh okay, thanks for your time sir."
Them: "Hello, this is blah blah in Branson, we want you and your family to come on a vacation to Branson, have you ever been to Branson?"
Me: "Umm, no."
Them: "Well, have you heard of all the wonderful things in Branson?"
Me: "Umm, no."
Them: "You haven't?"
Me: "No."
Them: "Well, are you between the ages of 26 and 71?"
Me: "No."
Them: "Oh, well are you parents there?"
Me: "No, they're both at work."
Them: "Oh, okay, we'll call back later."
The top one is a guy, I guess he's called like 4-5 times now, talked to bro, dad, etc. He doesn't seem to get the picture that neither my sister nor her boyfriend live here, Russell never has, and neither of them will be here later either. The second one... who knows. Erica tells me because of a loophole in the law, you can't just tell them "take me off your list", you have to tell them, "add me to your 'do not call' list". Maybe I'll try it one of these times. It's just fun to string them along sometimes. :)
