I received the following advise from the shire today -
The shire advises that Waste Management (WA) will be transporting dangerous
goods through the shire between 27 May and 7 June.
In case of an incident occurring, brigades should not endevour to clear the
site but rather notify FESA on Channel 24 or call Northam Base to make the
call if you do not have channel 24.
The materials will be transported on the Great Eastern Highway. Dangerous
goods include low level radio active, arsenic and mercury.
Any queries regarding this advice should be directed to Bert Munyard at the
shire during normal office hours
Please pass this advice on to members who do not have email
Irishtown Bush Fire Brigade
It appears to have orginated in Oz... maybe I should look up Irishtown in Oz and see what I find. :P
