Feh!

So I didn't go to work today. I did go to class... Psychology. Turns out we had a test in there I knew nothing about much like Philo 202 Wednesday. The guy next to me is really cool, as is the guys who sit in front of us. They were helpful and told me I was going to fail. :P I looked over the notes of the guy who sits next to me to see what I missed last week when I was sick and memorized most of it right then. I can still pull it up now... like the memory enhancement techniques... study before sleep, repetition, mneumonic devices, and spaced learning. The kinds of altered states of consciousness... sleep, hypnosis, drug-induced, and meditation. Stuff about Pavlov and Classical conditioning, punishments (response post, time-out, aversive), and much more. :P I was the first one done, so I headed over to the union and waited for other people to show up. We ate snack and such and talked for about 40 minutes while watching TV, and then headed back. Turns out all but two people had left by then. :P So we checked out grades... I got a 79%... not great, but okay considering I didn't study at all and hadn't seen 1/4 of the material until 5 minutes before the test. I ended up losing a wad of points by completely reversing ever left-right brain matching question. Ah well.

Earlier in the day, my mom calls, says someone from my work called and I need to call in immediately. She was using her tight, now-you've-gone-and-done-it-and-lost-your-job tone of voice. :P She wasn't sure on the name of who called, I was though. So I check my work email...

The SIMS is not dead. So, I need to get your revised schedule so we can get the installation code completed prior to the Pesticide Field Rollout. Give me a call, or send me an e-mail.

I hope you didn't get the cold/flu that's been ravaging Jenny this last week.

Say Hi to Mom for me....dhb

Dean rocks as a boss. :P I also got one from Kathy who is the person that called my mom...

Dean needs your help and wondered when you were going to be in. There has been a lot of changes around here. If you can't get a hold of Dean give me a call at 337-5117.

Whee! They need my help. I somehow doubt that, what I'm writing is fairly simple, they probably just have other things to do. So I call Dean and get Nelson instead who is our outside contractor who lives in Lansing, Minneapolis, Montana, and who's wife work as a school teacher in Latvia. :P He's a really cool guy. But anyway, he tells me Dean isn't there this afternoon but he might talk to him later so he'll tell him I called and will be in tomorrow. :P

Because I was curious... some links to his books mainly... not that anyone is really interested in FoxPro. :P
